about the firm Thompson & Elliott is a boutique law firm that has carried on the practice of law and successfully served its clients for over 25 years. The firm is well established in Vancouver and known for its practice in real estate, foreclosure, and commercial litigation.
The firm was found by Keith Thompson in 1979 who was later joined by Gordon Elliott in their original office in the old Standard Building in downtown Vancouver. Since that time, the firm has undergone a number of significant changes to bring it to the modern firm it is today. The Partners of the firm now consist of Gordon Elliot, Walter Kosteckyj and Richard Ledding. Sonny S. Parhar joined the firm as an associate in 2002.
Today the representative clients of Thompson & Elliott include some of the leading participants in the real estate industry whether it be the financial or development sector. Additionally, the firm carries on a thriving transactional practice serving home buyers throughout the Lower Mainland area. Finally, the firm enjoys a significant litigation practice which is broad in scope covering motor vehicle accidents, tax cases and commercial disputes.
More recently, the firm’s litigation practice has expanded to cover areas such as criminal, family and estate litigation making it a full service litigation firm.
